July 17: Tribal journalist Khan Zaman returns home after taken away from Hangu claiming that kidnappers beat him up and asked him why “I am filing critical reports.”

July 18: A religious group supporting convicted killer Mumtaz Qadri protested outside Lahore Press Club to declare media “Yahoodi (Jewish) media.” The group accused the media of ‘not giving coverage’ to the group.
